1.discuss討論

discuss和物動(dòng)詞(transitiveverb)，about或其他介系詞不能添加到后面。

另一種幫助記憶的方法是：

discuss=talkabout

假設(shè)我說Wediscusedaboutheproblemme.

等于Wetalkedaboutabouttheproblem.

應(yīng)該能清楚地知道錯(cuò)在哪里吧？因此，正確的用法是：

但是你可能會(huì)想，為什么about看起來這么熟悉？

是的，discuss作為名詞時(shí)，后面要接about。

也許你看過一句令人困惑的句子：

原來這里的about是用來修改后面的threproblems說大概有三個(gè)問題，和前面的discuss無關(guān)。別搞混了！

2.感謝appreciate

appreciate是和物動(dòng)詞，for或其他介詞不能添加到后面。

Ireallyappreciateyoursupportthroughoutthehardtime.非常感謝您在這艱難的日子里伸出援手。

另外，我們來比較一下這兩句話:

Iappreciateyoursupport.Iappreciateyouforyoursupport.

第一句話是強(qiáng)調(diào)你感謝他所做的「事」，第二句的用法主要是強(qiáng)調(diào)這一點(diǎn)「人」。

第二句錯(cuò)了嗎？不，但在工作場(chǎng)所的溝通中，我們會(huì)盡量避免過于針對(duì)個(gè)人，所以用第一句來表達(dá)是合適的，但我們經(jīng)常在其他非正式場(chǎng)合看到第二句的用法！

3.缺少lack

lack是物動(dòng)詞，of或其他介系詞不能添加到后面。

但是我怎么覺得lackof這個(gè)用法很熟悉呢？那是因?yàn)閘ack是名詞的時(shí)候，后面要加of。

Hehasgreatbasketballskills,butalwayslacksconfidenceonthecourt.他籃球技術(shù)高超，但在球場(chǎng)上總是缺乏自信。Hehasgreatbasketballskills,butthelackofconfidencealwaysmakeshimlosethegame.他籃球技術(shù)高超，但缺乏自信導(dǎo)致他總是輸?shù)舯荣悺?/p>

4.emphasize強(qiáng)調(diào)

emphasize后面不能加on或其它介詞。但是如果是名詞，就要接on。

Iwanttoemphasizemysenseofaestheticsbymakingmyresumepretty.Iwanttoputemphasisonmysenseofaestheticsbymakingmyresumepretty.我想把簡(jiǎn)歷做得很漂亮，強(qiáng)調(diào)我的美感。

5.mention提到

不管mention是什么詞性，后面都不能加about或其它介系詞哦！

6.考慮/把consider視為…

一般來說，consider直接加名詞就好，后面加?xùn)|西有兩種常見的用法:consideratobeb和consideratobebconsider Ving。

7.到達(dá)reach

如果要表示到達(dá)，可以直接在reach后面加名詞，但是要注意，如果使用arrive，就要加at，兩者不要搞混！

8.contact聯(lián)系

contact是和物動(dòng)詞，with或其他介系詞不能添加到后面。with除非作為名詞，否則需要添加。

當(dāng)approach是動(dòng)詞時(shí)，不能添加to，但如果要表達(dá)的話「門路」或「方法」如果要把詞性變成名詞，這個(gè)時(shí)候要加to。
